What is Gold?

           Gold is a precious metal that is yellow that is the chemical element with the number 79. It is used in jewlery, decoration and to give currency its value.

How to mine Gold

            Gold can be mined in a few different methods.Most of the world's gold is mined using hard rock mining where you go underground or to an open pit and you mine the gold from rocks and stones. Sometimes gold can be found in byproduct mining where gold isn't what your looking for but you find it anyway. The last form of mining gold is processing gold ore. This method involves using crushed rock or earth containing`gold and using a chemical process to extract it. This is frowned upon because the amount of gold recieved is low and the impact towards the enviroment plus the cost is very high.
